On the weekends, parking is allowed on the street, but parking is always limited in downtown Providence. A parking garage is located next to the theater with entrances on both Fountain and Washington Streets.

How do I exchange my subscription tickets to a different date?
It's easier than ever to switch your dates for a show at Trinity Rep. If you find a conflict in your schedule, you can request a new performance date by mail, fax, phone or by using our online Ticket Exchange Form. The only rule: we must receive your old tickets AT LEAST 24 hours in advance of your original date, so that someone else can buy the seats you can’t use. For subscribers, there's no cost or limit to this service. Call 351-4243 for details.

Can you let me know when you will hold auditions?
The 2008-2009 Adult general auditions were held May 31 and June 2nd. All information about upcoming auditions is posted on this website. Please note that our staff cannot contact everyone who is interested in auditioning when auditions come up and we do not keep a mailing list. The best thing to do is to keep checking this website and the Providence Journal for information.

When will you hold auditions for kids?
Other than for A Christmas Carol, which we produce every season, we don't always know ahead of time if we will be casting kids or teens, so the suggestions above apply. For A Christmas Carol only kids under 13 will be considered. This is a rule we must strictly follow to comply with actors' union regulations - no exceptions.

Do you offer acting classes for kids?
Yes. Please click here for information on the Young Actors Studio program where you will find information on our many programs through which we involve school age kids.

Will a show be cancelled due to bad weather?
Trinity Rep does not cancel performances or issue refunds due to inclement weather conditions. Performances are cancelled only at the discretion of management. In the unlikely event of a show cancellation patrons should call the theater, check this website or local news stations.

In the unlikely event of a show cancellation, a cancellation notice will be posted on the main page of our website and we will attempt to contact ticket holders for that performance by phone to notify them of the cancellation. Additionally, we will inform the local news & TV stations through the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association statewide announcements. Patrons can also find out if a performance has been canceled by calling the Box Office at 401-351-4242. We will also list the cancellation on the outgoing Box Office phone message. Performance cancellations are rare and are usually decided late in the afternoon for an evening performance.
