Where is the will call window?
Tickets waiting to be picked up at will call are available at the Box Office in the Lederer Theater Center during the business hours outlined above.

Will a show be cancelled due to bad weather?
Trinity Rep does not cancel performances or issue refunds due to inclement weather conditions. Performances are cancelled only at the discretion of management. In the unlikely event of a show cancellation patrons should call the theater, check this website or local news stations.

In the unlikely event of a show cancellation, a cancellation notice will be posted on the main page of our website and we will attempt to contact ticket holders for that performance by phone to notify them of the cancellation. Additionally, we will inform the local news & TV stations through the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association statewide announcements. Patrons can also find out if a performance has been canceled by calling the Box Office at 401-351-4242. We will also list the cancellation on the outgoing Box Office phone message. Performance cancellations are rare and are usually decided late in the afternoon for an evening performance.

Where can I park?
Patrons are advised to plan on arriving as early as possible to the theater in order to accomodate traffic and parking. This is especially important during the weekend performances, as there are multiple events occurring within the Downtown area. On the weekends, parking is allowed on the street, but parking is always limited in downtown Providence. A parking garage is located next to the theater with entrances on both Fountain and Washington Streets.

How do I exchange my subscription tickets to a different date?
It's easier than ever to switch your dates for a show at Trinity Rep. If you find a conflict in your schedule, you can request a new performance date by mail, fax, phone or by using our onlineTicket Exchange Form. The only rule: we must receive your old tickets AT LEAST 24 hours in advance of your original date, so that someone else can buy the seats you can?t use. For subscribers, there's no cost or limit to this service. Call 351-4243 for details.

What happens if I missed a show because of an emergency?
We understand -- emergencies do happen. We all want the same thing -- for you to see the shows you've chosen. Please call our box office at 351-4242 as soon as possible. Though we cannot give you a free set of additional tickets, we'll do everything we can to get you in.

Can you donate tickets to the non-profit I work with for a fundraising raffle?
Trinity Rep will generally support fellow non-profit performing arts organizations by providing two ticket vouchers each good for one ticket for use in an auction or fundraiser. One request per organization will be honored per calendar year. Eligible organizations include non-profit producing arts organizations and in some special instances based on availability, public or private schools and health related services for individuals. Vouchers may only be used for the first 11 performances of a production and are not valid for A Christmas Carol or any special engagements or book-in performances.  All shows are subject to availability. Please note that gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or applied toward the cost of a subscription. Please note that all donations of tickets are made at the sole discretion of Trinity Rep based on the requesting organization and the services provided by the organization.  Due to the overwhelming demand from many worthy organizations in Rhode Island, we are unable to honor donation requests for organizations located outside of the state.

Because of the high volume of requests we receive, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All requests must be submitted in writing on official organization letterhead.
  • All requests must be received at least six weeks in advance of the event date.
  • We do not accept requests for subscriptions or cash donations and generic fundraising requests.
  • Please describe the type of event and the beneficiary.
  • Please include the name, address and phone number of the contact person for the organization.
  • Requests are reviewed and responded to by mail only. This process can take up to six weeks. No phone calls, please.
  • If approved, you will receive your voucher at least two weeks before your event.

Requests may be mailed to: Ticket Donation Requests, Trinity Repertory Company,
201 Washington Street, Providence, RI 02903.
