Workshops and Teacher Preview Nights

For teachers who are looking for assistance in integrating the Trinity Rep plays into their classroom curricula, we offer a series of after-school professional development workshops led by Trinity Rep artists and education staff. Typically, each workshop focuses on one upcoming play. Standards-based classroom activities are explained and modeled, followed by discussion and reflection on the activities and the text of the play. Workshops include light refreshments and 1 complimentary ticket to a Teacher Preview performance of the play studied. Each workshop provides approximately 2 contact hours of professional development, certified by the R.I. Department of Education.

Can’t make it to Trinity Rep for professional development?
If there is a group of teachers at your school interested in Professional Development but cannot make it to Trinity Rep, then Trinity staff will conduct a Professional Development Workshop at your school. For teachers who are looking for assistance in integrating a play into their curriculum, we offer interactive, after-school workshops. Your workshop registration also includes one (1) complimentary ticket to a preview performance of the play and two contact hours of professional development certified by the RI Department of Education.
