PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS

As one of the largest cultural institutions in Rhode Island, Trinity Rep’s mission is to make theater accessible and available to the young people of New England.

Through our Project Discovery student matinees, Young Actors Studio and school-to-career initiatives, we provide in-depth, comprehensive and holistic theater experiences for students of all ages and backgrounds — experiences in which the ideas of company, community and collaboration (the central ideas of Trinity Rep) remain essential.

At the heart of our education programs is our resident acting company. Knowledgeable, compassionate and inspirational, they are our greatest resource: terrific actors and outstanding teachers. As arts programs are cut from school curriculums across the country, Trinity Rep steps into the void to offer high quality arts education. Theater can transform and enhance young people’s lives, broaden their perspective, and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

Trinity Rep looks forward to cultivating the next generation of artists and theatergoers, and hopes you can be a part of it.

Tyler Dobrowsky, Education Director
