Young Actors Studio | Trinity Rep’s Young Actors Studio provides in-depth year-round programming for students interested in theater. Four semesters of introductory classes are taught by our education staff, and year round advanced classes are taught by members of our resident acting company. Introductory classes take place over fall, winter and spring trimesters, and focus on playwriting, basic acting skills, improvisation and scene study. Year Round Advanced Programs | | Classes meet throughout the year, and are taught by members of our resident acting company. Students receive complimentary tickets to Trinity Rep productions. | | | Teen Collaborative This is our most advanced program for high school students, and is the perfect class for an aspiring actor. A writing and performance based ensemble, the Collaborative. - Takes classes exclusively with professional Trinity Rep actors.
- Attends every Trinity Rep production, as well as every Brown/Trinity Consortium production.
- Writes and performs shows for student audiences throughout New England.
Grades 9-12 Class starts Sept 22 and runs throughout the year Mondays, 3:30 to 5:30pm, but also requires out-of-class rehearsal. Cost: $800. Scholarships are available. Download registration form>>
| | | Junior Ensemble The Junior Ensemble is our advanced program for younger students, grades 4-6. The Junior Ensemble: learns and studies with Trinity Rep education staff members attends Trinity’s production of A Christmas Carol and A Raisin in the Sun study playwriting, scene study, movement, and are introduced to different forms of theater, such as Shakespeare, Commedia dell’arte and kabuki.

| | | Audition Techniques Class The Audition Techniques class prepares students for the college and professional audition process. Past students have been accepted into prestigious programs such as: the Boston University Conservatory, University of Michigan, Syracuse University, New York University as well as professional opportunities such as Disney among others. | | | Shakespeare for Beginners The class focuses on the works of Shakespeare, including Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night. Students rehearse and perform selected scenes from Shakespeare, study Shakespearean language and present scenes for family and friends at the end of the course. For students who are just beginning to discover the joy of theater, we offer introductory classes for students of all ages. These classes touch on scene-study, playwriting and improvisation and are taught by our education staff.
