ACTING CLASSESFor students in grades K-12 who are just beginning to discover the joy of performing arts, or are too busy to take our year-round classes, we offer after school and Saturday acting courses at the theater. These sessions focus on the fundamentals of theater including character building, scene-study, playwriting and improvisation and are taught by our education staff. Each class culminates in a performance open to friends and family. Note: Dates and times are approximate. You will be contacted with specific start dates/end dates upon registration. YEAR-ROUND CLASSES: For students interested in being a part of the entire Trinity Rep season, we have year-round classes available for grades 5 – 12! The Junior Ensemble (5th-7th grade) the Theater Explosion (8th-9th grade), and The Collaborative (10th-12th grade) run from September to May and focus on acting skills, playwriting, improvisation, Shakespeare and more! The tuition includes tickets to Student Nights for our mainstage productions at Trinity Rep. All year-round classes are full for the 2011-2012 season. Check back in July 2012 for registration forms!

PLAYREADING ALOUD! High school students are invited to expand their theatrical horizons in the Playreading Aloud program. The group meets twice a month to read contemporary plays that they might not otherwise be exposed to until college or beyond. Students meet at the theater to learn about, read, and discuss plays by Tony Kushner, Sarah Ruhl, Neil Simon, Caryl Churchill, Jose Rivera, Christopher Durang, David Mamet, Paula Vogel, Connie Congdon, and many more! The Trinity Technicians will meet several times throughout the year. NEW!! ACTING THE SONG Tuesdays from March 13th – May 1st, 6PM – 8PM, $250 For students entering 10th – 12th grade Musical theateroffers many challenges and opportunities to the actor. Focusing on solos, this class will explore how to remain truthful while at the same time finding the size and passion needed to fill and justify a song. Music from any genre is welcome. Selections will be discussed & chosen with the instructor to suit each student's skill level and specific goals. Taught by company member Rachael Warren, accompanied by Vicki Dorazio
