The Pell Awards

The 2009 Pell Awards Gala took place on June 20, 2009 at Pelican Ledge, the home of Nuala Pell, in Newport, RI. Academy-award winner Kevin Spacey was honored with the National Pell Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Arts, and the late Senator Claiborne Pell was honored with the National Pell Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Arts.

The event drew 480 attendees and raised over $300,000 for Trinity Rep.
