Michael Gennaro, Executive Director  Michael Gennaro joined Trinity Rep as executive director in 2007. He was executive director of Steppenwolf Theatre for eight years, where Curt Columbus was associate artistic director. During his tenure, Steppenwolf won the National Medal of Arts and received a Tony Award for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Michael was also an actor, entertainment attorney and theatrical producer. He is the vice president of the National Corporate Theatre Fund. He is grateful to his acting teacher, Sandy Meisner, and his Tony Award-winning father, Peter Gennaro. He is a referee with the Providence Roller Derby and his wife, Donna Lee, is a skater. They live in Providence and have a son, Brendan, who lives in Chicago.
