At Trinity Rep, he designed the lighting for Boots on the Ground, Hamlet, Indoor/Outdoor, Cyrano, A Christmas Carol ‘05, Suddenly Last Summer, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Seagull, Imaginary Invalid. Off-Broadway: On the Line at Cherry Lane, American Magic at Altered Stages, Little Marry at the Sanford Meisner. Other Theatres:  Actors Theatre of Louisville, Merrimack Rep, Capital Rep, Sledgehammer Theatre, Pig Iron Theatre, Perishable Theatre, New Paradise Lab, La Mama E.T.C., The Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Coyote Theatre among many. Opera: Bard Summerscape, Long Beach Opera, Portland Opera Repertory Theatre, Boston Academy of Music. Mr. Lilienthal has taught or been a guest lecturer at RISD, RIC, Brown/Trinity Rep Consortium, Emerson College, Suffolk University, Northeastern University. Mr. Lilienthal is a founding member of the performance company TENT. He holds an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
