At Trinity Rep, he designed the lighting for Some Things Are Private, The Clean House, Our Town, Boots on the Ground, Hamlet, Indoor/Outdoor, Cyrano de Bergerac, A Christmas Carol ’05 and ’06, Suddenly Last Summer, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Seagull, Imaginary Invalid. Off-Broadway: On the Line at Cherry Lane, American Magic at Altered Stages, Little Marry at the Sanford Meisner. Other Theaters: Actors Theatre of Louisville, Arden Theatre, Arizona Theatre Co., Merrimack Rep, Capital Rep, Sledgehammer Theatre, Pig Iron Theatre, Perishable Theatre, New Paradise Lab, La Mama E.T.C., The Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Coyote Theatre among many. Opera: Bard Summerscape, Long Beach Opera, Portland Opera Repertory Theatre, Boston Academy of Music. Mr. Lilienthal has taught or been a guest lecturer at RISD, RIC, Brown/Trinity Rep Consortium, Emerson College, Suffolk University, Northeastern University. Mr. Lilienthal is a founding member of the performance company TENT. He holds an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
