Mr. Jones is the director of voice and speech for the Brown/Trinity Rep Consortium and the resident voice and speech coach for Trinity Rep. He was formerly head of voice and speech at Purchase College in New York, and has taught for NYU at Playwrights Horizons, The 42nd Street Collective, The Paper Mill Playhouse Conservatory, Providence College, and Rhode Island College. In New York, he was voice and dialect coach for the Off-Broadway productions of Dinner with Friends and Crimes of the Heart. For the past six seasons Mr. Jones has consulted on voice and dialects for Trinity productions. Favorites include Homebody/Kabul, The Long Christmas Ride Home, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Ruby Sunrise, The Henriad: Shakespeare’s Kings, Hamlet and All the King’s Men. Other regional credits include Long Wharf Theatre, The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Hangar Theatre, Rites and Reason, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and The Public Theater, NYC. He was the dialect coach for Brotherhood (Showtime) and the film Black Irish with Brendan Gleeson and Melissa Leo.
