Join us and Rhode Island Latino Arts in a staged reading of Just Like Us, a play by Karen Zacarías based on the real story of DREAMers that shows the human cost of ending DACA. This reading is inspired by Zacarías’ movement to give free production rights to institutions interested in producing the play to raise awareness of what cancelling DACA will mean for thousands of students. The performance is FREE and open the public at the Lederer Theater Center, 201 Washington St., Providence, RI 02903. Following the reading we’ll be hearing from DREAMers and immigration attorneys helping us get organized. ... See more
