Addie Gorlin ’19

Addie Gorlin hails from Minneapolis and is an educator, producer, and director of new and classic plays. Her most recent directing credits include Eurydice, Twelfth Night, and A Streetcar Named Desire (Brown/Trinity), Charm and According to Coyote (Mixed Blood Theatre), Laramie Project (Children’s Theater), I and You (Phoenix Theater), and Five Tries (Cutting Ball Theatre). Addie has developed new work at theaters such as The Playwrights Center, The Lark, Mixed Blood, Riverside Theater, Ivoryton Playhouse, and has served as an assistant director at The Guthrie, The Public, and Trinity Rep among others. Fellowships include Artistic Management and Directing at Cutting Ball Theater and the National New Play Network (NNPN) Producer-in-Residence grant through which she apprenticed in artistic direction at Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis. Addie is an aspiring artistic director invested in the regional theater movement, civic theater practice, theater for all ages, and holds 6-12th grade English and Drama teaching credentials.
