Christopher Windom has directed or choreographed at Cleveland Play House, The Vineyard Theatre, The Public Theatre Mobile Shakespeare Unit, Guthrie Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Trinity Repertory Company, Signature Theatre, Dallas Theatre Center, TheatreWorks (Palo Alto), New York Musical Theatre Festival, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, Maples Repertory Theatre, and Maine State Music Theatre, as well as NYU, Columbia University and Temple University. He choreographed the MGM feature film Respect, directed by Liesl Tommy, starring Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin. He also choreographed the first live production of the animated film Frozen for Disney Resort in Disneyland. He served as Associate Director for the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award Winner Andy Blankenbuehler. Christopher was the Drama League Fellow Assistant Director for the Broadway production of Pippin, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus. Christopher has performed on Broadway and National Tours in the shows Fosse and Damn Yankees, starring Jerry Lewis. He performed in the City Center Encores series, and regional theaters including The Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Stages St. Louis, The St. Louis Rep., The St. Louis Muny, Marriott Lincolnshire. He has taught at Webster University, Temple University, The Brown University TheatreBridge program, and NYU – Stella Adler Studio. Christopher received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Webster University and an MFA in Directing from Brown University/Trinity Rep.
