Gia (she/her) is very excited to join Trinity Rep as an assistant to the Artistic department!
She received her B.A. in Art and Entertainment Management from Dean College in 2018, after transferring from Columbia College Chicago her junior year. Upon graduating, she completed a yearlong Institutional Development apprenticeship at Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD where she received the Rebecca Rice Community Engagement Grant. There, Gia learned how much she enjoyed the relationship between the stage, education and community engagement/outreach.
Gia is currently a first year teaching artist with the Gamm Theatre and Harbor Creative Arts. She is also the small business owner of Cards by Gia! She also has some local stage management experience with the Wilbury Theatre Group’s, Fire Flowers and a Time Machine/Flores de Fuego y una Máquina del Tiempo by Shey Rivera and Natural Shocks by Lauren Gunderson.
Before joining Trinity Rep, Gia was working as a Barista at The Nitro Bar in Newport after working as an Assistant Site Coordinator at Providence After School Alliance. During college, Gia also gained invaluable experiences as a marketing/administrative intern at The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, Festival Ballet Providence and Courthouse Center for the Arts.
Gia is very thankful and appreciative of her parents, family and friends for always supporting her passion and goals and her fur pals, Charlie and Wizzy, for being the two best cats in the world.
