Natalie Dreyer is the School Partnerships and Professional Development Manager at Trinity Rep, as well as a teaching artist. Natalie is the founder and lead teaching artist for Creative Classrooms – an arts integration program that uses theatre and other arts strategies, partnered with common core standards, to enrich English Language Arts classrooms by building community and developing 21st century skills. Creative Classrooms partners with four Providence Public schools – Carl G. Lauro, Asa Messer, Alan Shawn Feinstein at Broad St and Spaziano Elementary schools and provides workshops and embedded professional development for 22 classrooms. She also manages the season-long internship program and teaches for the Young Actors Studio, YASI and leads YASI Jr.
Natalie recently completed her Masters of Education from Lesley University with a focus in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts. She focuses much of her work and study on the benefits of arts integration for English Language Learners. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University in Vocal Performance and Spanish.
