Performance times and latecomers
All evening performances begin at 7:30 pm and all matinee performances at 2:00 pm, except for A Christmas Carol. Please check your tickets for the start time of your performance. Trinity Rep performances begin on time. Patrons with special needs should arrive early to be seated with ease. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager at the first available opportunity, and until then will be available to view video monitors in the lobby.
There is no dress code at Trinity Rep. A night at the theater can be as casual or as dressy as you’d like it to be.
Please turn off all cell phones, beepers, pagers, and watch alarms during the performance. Texting and other cell phone use are limited to intermission, outside the theater. Photography and video and/or audio recording of performances by any means are strictly prohibited.
Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can’t make your performance, call the box office as soon as possible to release your tickets at (401) 351-4242. One of our box office representatives will be able to help you reschedule your tickets for another performance. Please note, subscribers can reschedule their tickets at no cost. All other patrons are subject to a $5 per ticket rescheduling fee. Read the full ticket exchange guidelines.
Children at the theater
We do not permit children 5 and under to attend Trinity Rep subscription season shows. Children over the age of 2 are permitted to attend A Christmas Carol.
Please note that though young children may be allowed in the theater, the content of shows may not be appropriate for all ages. If you would like to bring a child to the theater and have questions about the content, please contact the box office. Please respect the experience of the people sitting around you if you plan to bring a young child.
