Though we can’t be together for in-person shows right now, we remain committed to bringing our community together around dynamic storytelling and conversations. We are working behind the scenes to plan for a safe return to the theater at the end of this temporary pause and creating digital content so that we can continue to connect from afar.

America Too: Reckoning and Resilience

America Too: Reckoning and Resilience marks the sixth year of the America Too initiative. This 5-part online series combines theater, music, and art with stories from our community and seeks to catalyze community dialogue around the pressing issues of our moment. New episodes will premiere at 7:30 pm on the fourth Thursday of January, February, March, April, and May.

The Writer’s Room

Witness new plays take shape in Trinity Rep’s latest online series. Each episode of the free, five-part series will provide an inside look at the evolution of a different project. Every world premiere production begins as an idea in the mind of the playwright and then moves to words on a page. But long before any opening night, those words are spoken aloud by actors during one or more workshops during which the playwright makes discoveries and refines the script. “The Writer’s Room” audiences will witness a part of this process, including discussions with the creative team moderated by Curt Columbus, artistic director, and have the opportunity to pose questions of the group. These live events will be held at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month, February through June.

A Christmas Carol

Trinity Rep’s four-decade tradition of sharing A Christmas Carol with our community continued in 2020 with a free, online production. The show was available December 17, 2020 – January 10, 2021.

The Show Goes On
