Emma Becker (she/her) is the Education Programs Coordinator at Trinity Rep. She previously worked as the arts in education assistant at the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, at School One (Providence, RI) as a dance teacher, and as a stage manager with the Wilbury Theatre Group and the Brown/Trinity MFA Program (Providence, RI). Emma has also worked as a teaching artist with Trinity Rep both after-school during the school year and at various YASI summer programs.
In addition to her current role at Trinity Rep, Emma teaches ballet and musical theater on the weekend at Newport Academy of Ballet (Newport, RI) for children ranging in age from 3-12. As a lifelong Rhode Islander, Emma is excited to continue to work in the thriving arts community here in the state. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she earned her BFA in theater, concentrating in acting and management, and a minor in education. Emma also trained in various dance styles with Spindle City Ballet in Fall River, MA.
Outside of her work, Emma enjoys reading lots of books, trying new baking recipes, dancing, and yoga.
