Laura Weick joined Trinity Rep in July 2021. is responsible for the organization’s written marketing content included in its production program books, social media posts, emails, blog posts, and more. She also serves as Trinity Rep’s primary media contact and assists the department in crafting content strategy.
Before joining Trinity Rep, she was a freelance writer with work appearing in publications across Rhode Island including The Warwick Beacon, the Cranston Herald, East Greenwich News, the Independent, and South County Life. She also was a staff reporter for Beacon Communications.
Laura graduated with a BA in journalism and political science with a minor in music at the University of Rhode Island. Here, she was the managing editor for the student newspaper, the Good Five Cent Cigar. In her spare time, Laura enjoys playing piano and spending time with her two cats.
