Michael Évora

Previously at Trinity Rep, Michael was the musical director for black odyssey. He is the founder and director of the Prism of Praise Community Gospel Choir, now in its 28th year of music ministry throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut and Southeastern Massachusetts. He is committed to exploring the ability of music not simply to entertain, but to engage, educate, edify and enlighten. Michael is a civil rights attorney and Executive Director of the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights. He lives in Providence with his husband Sean and two canine dependents, Gage and Tobey.
