SeifAllah Salotto-Cristobal

SeifAllah Salotto-Cristobal (he/him/his) is excited to be back with the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Program for these projects. He has been telling stories using light and video for the past 17 years. His career has taken him across the country and has allowed him to design for Theatre, Opera, Dance, Musical Concerts, and Events. He has had the privilege to work on projects with many companies including Portland Stage Company (Portland, ME), Umbrella Stage Company (Concord, MA), Ogunquit Playhouse (Ogunquit, ME), Maine State Music Theatre (Brunswick, ME), Remote Theatre Project (Brooklyn, NY), Opera Maine (Portland, ME), Opera Colorado (Denver, CO), Palm Beach Opera (Palm Beach, FL), Tulsa Opera (Tulsa, OK), Boston Conservatory @ Berklee (Boston, MA), Unicorn Theatre (Kansas City, MO), Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts (Warsaw, IN), and Theatre at Monmouth (Monmouth, ME). He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a focus on Lighting and Projection Design and is the Assistant Professor of Lighting Design and Interim Chair for the Department of Theatre at the University of Southern Maine where he brings his knowledge and experience to help shape the next generation of theatre professionals, focusing on developing complete storytelling and creating a more equitable industry. www.seif.design
