Trinity Rep, in collaboration with Rhode Island Latino Arts, is producing a bilingual (English/Spanish) production of Shakespeare’s classic play, Romeo and Juliet. The production will tour to venues throughout Providence, including parks, libraries and cultural centers. The production is for families of all ages. Rehearsal dates are TBD with performances and tour in July. Possible extension into the Fall of 2017.
Seeking 8-10 male and female non-union actors; must be age 18 or older. Actors should be fluent in both English and Spanish. Please prepare a Shakespeare monologue of your choice, not to exceed 2 minutes.

Trinity Rep offers recent college graduates intensive professional training through our volunteer internship program. Interns are an integral part of our theater company and serve alongside our staff in artistic, administrative, and production departments.

How do I submit my play to your theater?
Trinity Rep is committed to the development and production of new theater works. Each season, we seek to produce at least one premiere production, as well as readings and workshops of plays in development. Our Mabel T. Woolley Literary Department reads and reviews hundreds of scripts, looking for new plays which support our aesthetic vision and our resident acting company.
To submit a play, please have your agent contact us at the address listed below. Unsolicited scripts from playwrights without representation are not accepted.
